MED64 multielectrode array electrophysiology system

AMS products

The MED64 System (aka Panasonic MED System), based on microelectrode array technology, will enable you to stimulate and record responses from different areas within a biological sample over days, weeks and months with simple operation. Get reliable, long-term, continuous recording and two-dimensional, real-time analysis of neuronal/myocardial activity. The MED64 is a complete, fully integrated solution. Biological acute or culture preparation are placed directly into the MED probe. The MED64 System is comprised of four components: an integrated amplifier, probe, connector, and a choice of two different software programs (PerformerT or ConductorT) for data acquisition and analysis. Multi-electrode arrays (MEA) are widely used in electrophysiology studies of the central (CNS: e.g. Cortex, Hippocampus; retina, Suprachiasmatic Nucleus, SCN) and peripheral (PNS: e.g. Dorsal Root Ganglion, DRG) nervous system, as well as myocardial and other excitable tissue (e.g. smooth muscle).

More detailed descriptions of the applications for the MED64 system can be found hereExternal link

Microscopes

Our microscope product line comes from GX Microscopes and offers a wide range of models from stereos to inverted fluorescence at very affordable prices.

The full product line can be seen hereExternal link, while a selection of our more popular models is described below.

Upright Biological

L2000 [pdf]

Our most popular research grade microscope family and also the most versatile with options available for darkfield, phase contrast, and epi-fluorescence. Choice of binocular or trinolcular head with high quality plan achromatic objectives.

Biological Microscope

L3000 [pdf]

The latest in the range, these microscopes combine high quality imaging with ergonomic styling and value for money. Available as both binocular & trinocular and with options including darkfield & phase contrast.

Biological Microscope

Stereo Zoom

XTL101-3 [pdf]

XTL-101 has a zoom range 0.7x - 4.2x via a conveniently placed control knob. Integrated base and incident illumination allow many different types of specimen to be observed.
The XTL range is available with several different bases and illumination options plus screw-in auxiliary objectives to change the overal magnification. A trinocular head is available with C mount camera adapter.

Biological Microscope

Inverted Biological

XDS-2 [pdf]

An advanced instrument suitable for observation of living specimens in culture and examination of microtitre wells. The XDS-2 inverted microscope features an ergonomic smooth running mechanical stage and long working distance condenser and objectives.

Phase contrast is provided as standard.
